Carbon capture

Equipment that catches carbon dioxide from a flue or from the air, before it is stored or used.

Carbon capture takes carbon dioxide out of an exhaust, or directly from the air, so it can be stored underground or used in a product. CCS is capture and storage. CCUS includes using the carbon. This icon is the capture step, not a credit or a market.
